Alec Martinez

FOUNDER

At a very young age, I found my true passion for race cars while shadowing my Father's footsteps. I had a life unlike most kids. When I wasn't at school, I was next to my Dad at his shop called Memory Lane. My Dad was constantly helping out local race car drivers with parts coming from his auto dismantling business. Every Saturday since I could remember, I would go with my Dad to his shop and help him with whatever I could. Whether it was mopping the floors, assorting metals to get sent to the scrap yard, or pulling parts off of cars. Unlike most fathers, my Dad always had me by his side while he was at work. I never realized it back then, but now I realize what my father was doing has helped shape me to have better communication skills, strong work ethic, passion, and to overall be a strong businessman. After the days work my Dad would take me to Irwindale Speedway to watch the races. As a young kid I knew I wanted to race cars when I grew up.

Unable to afford the extreme cost of racing, my only option as a kid was to play normal team sports like Baseball and Football. Nonetheless-I hated it, being in the dugout all that was on my mind was finding a way to race.

Fast forward to now, I never thought that I would be racing cars for the past six years.
